Inspired by Kristin, our intrepid PPF leader's Wednesday post
I am sharing some random thoughts as well...
my long suffering paint splattered keyboard died during the week
but the new/old one I am using has a very clattery sounding keyboard
which makes me feel kind of efficient and typist worthy
I can't type to save myself
I bought this little collection of gorgeous tea cups from T2 to give as gifts
but now I am have been madly drawing and painting them
I am thinking it might be rude to send them on now
or is it?
I am the worst bagel slicer in the world
Sinus is living up to his nickname at the moment
I painted my lightbox mint green
not sure it was a genius move as photoshop seems to hate it
or maybe photoshop is just tired of my dodgy photography
and is spitting the dummy so to speak
a dummy is our name for a binky or pacifier to my US friends
Phantom said something so funny yesterday when we were at the mall
I snorted my green juice
that is not a pretty sight coming out of your nose in public let me tell you
I have a collection of half dead pens that I love
because it means that I can draw and get nice scratchy lines
I love my new phone a scary amount
I am attempting to set up photos of my prints for the etsy shop
and using props and things
this may not be my greatest talent lol
But the candle smells incredible
like good enough to eat incredible
but I won't be snacking on it any time soon
because it is time to get back to it
happy painting all...xx

Love those cups. Happy PPF, Hugs, Valerie
Things sound a little disjointed, but your cups look wonderful. :)
Lovely cups. Beautiful flower decoration.
Those teacups are beautiful!
Just the usual then... perfect painting, photos and post. I love to hear your random thoughts... it's both scary because you have no idea what might pop up, but also very funny with all your antics.
Happy Friday and have a brilliant weekend xx
I love it - it's like a stream of consciousness interspersed with beautiful illustrations. I love loud clattery keyboards - maybe that's the secretary in me! I'd never heard a dummy called a binky before but here's some random info for you - binky is the name of the little hop/skip/jump that rabbits do when they're happy and free running around a field with their pals!
Love the teacups - they will make even better gifts after having been turned to art. Also love the random thoughts. It is always nice to know when someone else has similar random dialogue in their head to process the world:) I am now very aware of the clicking sound of my keyboard and it makes me want to type faster which is why this comment is taking me twice the time to write.
Fascinating random thoughts.
And lovely, LoVeLy art too!
Wow! Love these paintings!
I especially love the top single cup. . . and always love your random thoughts!
Your random thoughts are clear to me. I think that might mean I am scattered? LOL As always your art is beautiful.

I love being in your brain and sharing all those thoughts. Makes me realize that I'm not the only one that has a gazillion random thoughts happily bouncing away in my mind. Love those tea cups! I like the mint green even if photo shop doesn't. M.x
Your random thoughts are so cute!!
My random thoughts are it's raining cats and dogs here....will I flood....better have some hot chocolate and stop worrying
love your cups. Happy PPF
Hmm... those cups... would be hard to give up. Unless of course you intended them for me - then you should release them right now!;-) Love that last painting - I have forgotten how much fun that weird series of yours was!
Right now I am having a cup of tea in a mug I bought in the Cotswolds back in 2005. Its got beautiful sheeo painted on it. One of my favorite mugs. Those cups you drew are beautiful. I would love a set of those. They look lovely.
Oh I love those cups, just beautiful. Having my own cup of tea in a favorite mug right now.
Loving those delicate teacups
Loved your rambling post, Tracey. The drawings are superb. You definitely have a talent at drawing things so they really look like what they are (unlike some of us). Have a wonderful weekend.
Sweetest ever painted teacups. Mint in your lightbox, I bet all the photo software hates it but it sure is pretty. Snorting green juice is not, but ha anyway. xox
Interesting random thoughts and I adore all your fabulous teacups!
Such wonderful randomness! And I always love your teacups.
You must have looked inside my brain. Lol. My husband always accuses me of poping my random thoughts into conversation. Love the teacups. I don't think it's fair that artists should have to be fabulous photographers as well. Not my strongest skill
I really love these cups. Went to their Web site and was disappointed to see they are sold out. Now I will have to obsess about finding them elsewhere. :-)
Your random thoughts are wonderfu, as usual, and I think "dummy" is a perfect name for the binky.
Love the idea of sharing random thoughts. Like everyone I love those teacups. I still think they would make wonderful gifts. I too struggle with taking good shots of my work.
these drawings are so lovely
your lines are so appealing
photographing things for etsy is not an easy thing to do!
As always, I love your sketches...but your photos really are not bad! Happy PPF and have a creativ Sunday - Irma
Beautiful ups! I love your random thoughts.
Enjoying your random thoughts! And those tea cups are so beautiful, as are your sketches of them. Wow, really!
We always called the binky a "plug" but the babies said "pug" instead so it didn't sound too rude.
lovely paintings...of course.
thanks for the translation for "dummy"...i was stumped!
good idea to keep older pens for scratchy lines...why didn't i think of that!?? brilliant!
The cups are awesome. . . so china like. Love you story, wish I knew the comment, lol. Blessings, Janet PPF
Gosh I am so behind with posts! I have been away and so much has been happening! You have been busy!! I LOVE that one of headless Phoebes with the teapot! Looks great framed! And the teacups are gorgeous too :0) My light box is white, with rails at the top so I can hang any colour cloth around it. My Dad mad it for me for my birthday! :0)
