A Black Hole Week...

Mug from Boo Martin

I have no clue where this week has gone
 I haven't been in a chocolate coma
which is surprising in and of itself given the season
but time has somehow disappeared in some weird way
and I have almost no recollection of what I have actually done this week
so perhaps I was in that chocolate coma after all
I did do a couple of cuppas paintings for the Cuppa With Friends Project
and they are just a perfect sort of way to get back into the creative swing of things
but outside of that it has been a big creative black hole
must mean there is big things around the corner I think
all that repressed creativity is going to come bursting out
which is always something to look forward to
 happy painting all...xx

Well good day Tracey :) I do not see a black hole but two beautiful paintings of tea cups. You have achieved something and it is better than nothing at all. Happy PPF :)

Oh you have a Snoopy mug. I love your cuppa drawings. They are always so much fun-(especially Snoopy with art supplies in it). Have a great weekend!

The Time is a strange thing and yes sometimes it is feeling like one have pasted through a black hole, I know it so well :) - Also the feeling there is a big and exciting thing waiting just around the corner. In the meantime the ART is growing in and on us, thihi - What a wonderful art it is, right?.. Thank you so much for sharing these thoughts and your wonderful art.. Hugs to you from Copenhagen

OK, the cups are great. I have moments in time (whoops where did the time go) like this. I thought it was 'growing older' but don't know for sure. Join the club. Blessings, Janet PPF

I know what you mean about time passing so quickly! I'm convinced it has to do with getting older.

I always enjoy your cuppa paintings!!

I agree-this week flew by. I'm itching to spend some long hours at the art desk. Lovely paintings, Tracey, blue and white china is my favorite

What black hole Tracey, have you seen the cup and mug. I love the idea of creativity bursting out... oh I wish it would over here ;D
When I saw the snoopy mug I immediately thought of Boo, but then I noticed it was from her. Just perfect!
Now you've reminded me I haven't had a cuppa for... ohhh at least 10 minutes and then chocolate for even less. Ok so I have a problem but you're there with me :D
Have a wonderful weekend and chat again soon.
Happy PPF to you

Is it still possible to send you a picture of my cuppa? Would love to see it from your hand :)
Have a beautiful weekend and a great week ahead!

Must have been all that dreaming of tiny ponies and goats that took you away... Once you burst forth from that Chocolate coma, I look forward to more wonderful creative bits from you!!

Sometimes it's good to stay in that little hole for a while and come out with new inspiration

Believe me the time thing you described gets much worse as you age. But you managed to do two perfectly wonderful cups. Beautiful.

Perhaps you were in the 'zone' while doing these wonderful drawings. Time means nothing then.

Love your cup and saucer! I have been in a chocolate induced coma too...and a delicious one it was too. Think it had given you a lot of inspiration! Happy PPF

I think there's always a little down creatively after the holidays. However, although you may not feel you produced as much, the high quality of your work is still there. Happy PPF and Blessings, my friend!

Go with Chocolate coma and tea high, sounds terrific, much better than "dunno what happened". Glad to see you taking a little time to paint some cups, my dear. Hope all is going well with all the projects. You have time to do "stretching" in SBS??

What fabulous paintings Tracey! :-D Almost polar opposites I think.
Black holes are such a nuisance, but I doubt you are in one, evidenced by said awesome paintings. However, I do agree that time just slips by almost unnoticed and frequently find myself wondering where on earth it has gone, especially when it smacks one in the face with yet another anniversary of one description or another and aforementioned face looks in the mirror and it's not quite the same one seen just a 'short' time ago. Lol.
Ach well, when all's said and done, we must be having fun if the popular saying about time flying is anything to go by ;-)
Have a fandabulous weekend xoxox

Some weeks you just need to rest up...stop and smell the roses...sleep in a black hole for a while. ;) You did a couple of wonderful cuppas, though. I do so enjoy these and seeing other people's cups. Have a great week. May your creativity percolate and brew you up a hot mess of ideas and energy! :)

Unfortunately most of the working parts of the week are black holes in my love (Great way to look at it) and often before I know it the weekend is one too if I am not being real consious about what I want to do and what I do...
Thank you for the little eye opener! Have a great and creative Sunday - Irma

oh Tracey, i SO know what you mean about the big black hole, only my hole has lasted for months (instead of a week!) so like you - i feel like the art inside me is gonna explode any day now. Your paintings are always so beautiful. BIG hugs to you. xx
