Instagram Inspiration ...

I am a fan of  instagram for all sorts of reasons
I love that it is just a visual overload of colours and images
I love that I can scroll through even when I have my dodgy glasses on
I love that you get a great sense of people with a quick scan of their visual world
plus that is so chock full to the brim with inspiring photos
Now my life is pretty full of colour and magic
but next to Aimee from Artsyville I am living in monochrome baby
just a quick squizz at her feed is like having colour injected into your body via your eyes
and she lets me paint her photos from time to time which is a bonus of course
these tins were a recent purchase from Ikea and they are very cool aren't they
I am chomping at the bit to get my butt down there to grab some of these beauties...

Another constant source of inspiration is Debbie Baier
we are talking about a feed overflowing with tea and tea related wonderfulness
plus adorable twin granddaughters
I swear seeing those two little girls makes my ovaries backflip
I have this whole stack of tea photos that Debbie has sent me, and I swear I could fill a sketchbook with them alone... fabulous
There is nothing better than inspiring friends is there ... happy painting all...xx

Oh thank you for the kind words Tracey! You are so sweet. The twins get cuter and more fun everyday (I say as their proud grandma BeeBee) and it's fun to share their antics.

Both lovely and colorful. I don't do instagram, but it certainly looks like a great place to find material for your paintings. :)

Beautiful, bright, cheerful, uplifting artwork, Tracey. I love the bright red on the tins. The tea art reminds me of the tin of tea I bought online from Harney & Sons. It is the only decaf tea I have found that tastes like real tea and not cardboard.

Since I am a container junkie, I love tins of all shape and sizes and colors, so your first painting is my favorite! I am so GLAD IKEA is not very close to me or I would have to go buy some tins!....LOL

I love it even more than the real thing! And your paintings are SO much better than my photos!! I wish I could put every picture I take through a Tracey filter!

beautiful containers and illustrations. I don't have a regular cell or Iphone but I hear a lot about the fun of instagram.

I agree Tracey and you are certainly one of mine! I have been meaning to look at Instagram for a while, but not really sure what I am supposed to 'do' once I have an account! I have a habit of doing lots of things badly rather than a few things well and that's my issue - That's what happened with Pinterest! I must give it some more attention... Anyway - as always, fabulous paintings!! :0)

I agree with everything in this post - I also love Instagram - I do tend to look at way too many cute animal photos on there and Pinterest and I also love Aimee's rainbow coloured world - it's doubly perfect that you get to take her already wonderful photos and TFK them!
