Day 21 ...

I would love to say I have been absent for the last few days
because I have been busy drawing and painting like mad
but alas this isn't the case
my poor daughter, Phantom Steve, has not been well
at all
so all I have to show for days and days
is one measly little finished painting in my sketchbook
and a backlog of about 5 million blog posts to visit....

I am pleased to get anything at all done
even if the plum isn't that plum-ish
it is sort of bright and lacking the purple bits
but I figure the blue bit looks suspiciously like a blueberry with a 50 tattoo
so put them together and you have a suitably plummy  rendition
of this delicious delicious tea
Slightly non plum-ish plum aside,
I like the finished product and it fits in nicely in my sketchbook
plus Phantom is on the mend
so all is on its way back to being fine with the world

I am now off to attempt to at least read some posts and catch up a bit
and maybe if the good old Phantom keeps improving at a rapid rate
I may even get back to the studio
crossing fingers and toes over here
which makes it surprisingly hard to type...
happy AEDM ...xx

Oh, so sorry to hear Phantom has been feeling poorly. After school collapse maybe? It used to take me at least a month to recover when school was out for the summer. No matter what--I hope she's back on her feet soon!! Give her a gentle hug from me. ;)

I love this tea tin. You buy the prettiest containers and then have the skill to draw them and color them with such flair. :)

So sorry to read about your daughter. I hope things get better for her soon and you can take a bit of a breather. I know how hard it is once you get behind.

As always, I love your art. Your colors are perfect, even if you aren't sure of them. I think everything is fantastic, but I always love your art!

Daughters are so precious. I'm glad Phantom is recovering.
You seem to have such colourful tea containers in Oz, in UK ours are so plain. Your painting is great.
I appreciate your comments on my posts so much, especially when I know how much goes on in your life. Ta muchly.

hope she feels better soon. . life is crazy busy, I can't keep any consistency with visiting or blogging. guilt is always hovering but family health is first so it is what it is. I love how Jez (whose humor I love) refers to your land as Oz!!!!!
cheers, dana

So sorry phantom's been sick, but glad to hear she's on the mend and things are on the way to being right with your world again.

Will definitely have to give that tattooed blueberry tea a try! :-)

Ahhh... poor Phantom fizzle-puff!!
I hope she get's better really soon. And there is nothing 'measly' about your sketch either! It's gorgeous! I'm looking at it upside down of course, tee-hee!

I´ll raid the fridge instead. I am glad that Phantom is improving....off to put some cinnamon on everything..........
