Getting my Elmer Fudd on...

It is that time of year
when wascally wabbits
are evewywhere...

They stalk me in the grocery shop
I feel their pleading eyes following from aisle to aisle
standing there in their shiny purple jackets and clutching their purse
but I am strong
stronger than I am faced with Arizona iced tea
stronger than when faced with George Clooney
then again
maybe I wouldn't resist too hard there
sorry Sinus.... but it is George, you understand
and I know I wouldn't be able to resist a chocolate George Clooney
Yummo!!!

Anyway.....
some have slipped through the net and now
they stalk me at the top of my stairs
where the daughter
has them standing like a row of
yummy chocolate torture...
I actually bought Sinus a chocolate football to distract him
because he is quite the wabbit man
and so far it seems to be working...
mind you the football is gone
so not sure the wascally ladies will survive the weekend
and I am distracting myself with these little beauties
well I was until I devoured the last one
allowing me to type in a glorious chocolate haze...
this is simply my favourite time of the year
and I am sure there will be other chocolate seasonal goodness

Chocolate Seasonal goodness is Everywhere! I'm yet to give in to those cute little bunny faces. I'm thinking I might treat myself to one of those marshmallow bunnies that come out at this time of year, though (if I can find them) they are my fav!

Great Bunny Pic!

Easter- the chocolate holiday. My teenage kids have made it very clear they still expect a basket from the bunny. I think they will be 35 and still expect me to provide a basket with plastic grass and bunny shaped chocolate...

LOL! I guess this is one good thing about being house-bound. I don't find myself passing by them in the store--tempting me sorely to toss maniacal chocolate bunnies into my cart. But a chocolate Clooney! Oh my! I'd never be able to pass that by--ROFL! ;)

Hahaha!! Love your writing, and your paintings are so cute. You might be the only woman in the world strong enough to resist George Clooney!

Oh, they are evil. I am not fooled for a minute by their big round eyes or their pink noses...and I'd like to know how those deceitful Cadbury creme eggs managed to throw themselves in my cart at the grocery last week.

I can't say the bunnies with purses torture me but I do have a slight problem with those Cadbury eggs with the candy shell this time of year. I think some others do as well because the shelf is empty of them at times! Those bunnies are adorable though! Happy PPF!
