A desk full of awesome

Sometimes everything just falls into place

and you just have one of those great days

it is a rare thing in my universe

but when it happens it is so glorious that I have to share...

You see Sinus Man didn't snore much

which means a fabulous sleep...

I got lots of jobs done before drop off 

and I managed to get the studio in some sort of order 

which was a good thing because it was looking very scary

after the decision was made to start to remodel it

and I had my great friend Tracey Grigc Potter coming to visit

and of course WOYWW is also on

which usually has a scary number of organised and impressive spaces

so I needed to get it in a state that was fit for public consumption....

and while in the pics it is looking deceptively fine

and in parts it looks positively as though it is under control but

let me just say that if you make the mistake 

of opening the cupboard door to under the stairs

you may just be buried under an avalanche that you may never emerge from...

I looked like a cartoon character stuffing supplies in there and trying to get the door closed

I swear I even had the feet sliding thing happening as I leant into it to get it closed...

Of course while doing that it occurred to me

that I could purposely not warn Sinus Man or the daughter

and ask them to get something from there

and then watch them get buried...

so tempting 

I am thinking that the first to annoy me when they get home is going to get it...

something to look forward to

like a special treat for the end of the day

I sailed from this high into

   a great visit with Tracey

talking art and painting and artists 

and cooking

and girls business

and all that stuff that makes life great...

so my mood was just getting better and better..

I am thinking that the Himalayan salt candle thingy 

which I bought yesterday is contributing

 because the lady swore sends out positive energy and all that new age stuff

 and hey she was at least sixty with flouro purple hair

 and had a tattoo of Elvis on her neck

so if I couldn't believe her

I figured I couldn't believe anyone...

So maybe it is the candle, but I don't mind that my table is full

of bits and unfinished stuff

and an unread note from school regarding the swimming carnival 

and that the understairs is potentially life threatening situation...

I am feeling great

And if that isn't enough great stuff for one day

I got the most OMG thing in the post

after last week's desk stalking I got to chatting via email

with the lovely and talented Sandra De

from http://deserendipity.blogspot.com.au/

and she suggested a swap of some tea related atc's

which I jumped at the chance to do

despite being a bit of a novice in the atc thing 

and today her package of wonderful arrived

 How unbelievably good is this thing

I am so impressed

and 

mildly freaked out

that I will be sending something back to her

but I'm not letting that kill my buzz

because my day has been so freakin awesome

and if it wasn't for WOYWW than I wouldn't have found Sandra

and so many other creative and generous people

and I wouldn't have this incredible little collection

to treasure

Talk about a great day...

roll on someone annoying me so that door can be opened

to top it off to perfection

my money is on Sinus Man getting it...
