So a big pinch and a punch for the first of the month and all that stuff and welcome to a month long tea marathon... just kidding, I am sure I will work some other images in there, but all things tea will probably have quite a show. I think it is easier to let your obsessions work through to their natural end, or when the family intervenes, which ever one comes first.
This ink and watercolour sketch is my first day's work for my attempt to take part in Art Every Day Month, which I happily signed up to last week without really considering what it actually meant. I have just committed to creating a piece of art every day and blogging about it , which may mean some very ordinary posts are in my future, and yours too by the way - which is starting to freak me out just a little- and yes you would think the title would be a dead give away, but hey I was just a tad under the weather due to a mixture of cold medication and wine. So sign up I did and now in a manner which is quite unlike me I am attempting to stick with it... one day down and one day completed so I am so totally on track and feeling confident at this stage... head on over to the blog and have a look at all the participants as they go up. I am looking forward to finding many new blogs and having the excuse to visit some of my favourites more often... maybe you could even join in the fun... wine and cold tablets are optional!!

Love the tea cups, my art requires drinking lots of tea too. I do what I can for AEDM, luckily we can all relate to having a zillion other things competing for our time!

You are off to a great start. This is lovely.
Thanks for stopping over at my blog. clicked over to see yours and am enchanted. Love the process of your masks - and hope you'll have better luck at the everyday thing (you have to learn not to care if it's right). Looking forward to seeing more and browsing your back blogs....absolutely love your work. Now I have to try some with a frame around it! Really finished it nicely!
Your tea cups makes me want to brew some chamomile tea... perhaps after I watch GLEE with my daughter tonight!
I have loved all my times with AEDM and yes, it sometimes gets crazy. Just keep creating and love every minute we're out here, blogging and arting and loving each other into inspiration....
And thank you for commenting on my blog for Day 1~!
Oooh tea for a month? I'm game! Yes it's good to let one's current obsession run its course. Can you imagine what would happen if you bottled up all that tea-ness?
Good luck with AEDM! I joined in for the first time last year and was pleasantly surprised with how much I got out of it. My creative beastie was VERY happy to be fed every day.
Warmly,
Tracy
You're a hoot! Love your first day art!!!!!!! I come from a long line of Tea Cup collectors. Of course now I have all of them.... I'm saving them for my granddaughter since my daughter isn't quite into the tea cup thing and my granddaughter loves them.
HuGGs! ;-)
