A huge happy birthday to my wonderful hubby.... just ask him he will tell you he is wonderful... and to celebrate I made him a painting of a cake... not an actual cake... but this low calorie , though perhaps somewhat flammable, cake. It was a choice of having a cake made or seeing a movie.... and he opted for movie... his choice of course being the birthday boy so Moneyball it was.
Now I have been known to not mind a bit of screen candy like the lovely Mr Pitt, but this was somewhat dulled by the fact that it was a movie about sport and maths... two of my least favourite things in the whole world... in fact sports makes up about my top ten least favourite things in the world....and if it had of been football I would have definitely attempted to drown myself in the popcorn.... and baseball is almost bearable... almost... lucky it was his birthday or I would have been groaning and grumbling the whole way.... but as it was I managed to just mutter at times, and think I may have gotten away with him thinking I had tolerated it quite well...of course the peanut m and m's helped ease the torture.
Also boosting my mood was this extraordinary and unexpected piece of origami wonderfullness which I received this morning from Ally, who is one of Phantom's friends... how freakin amazing is this thing... It is an origami ball made up of these flowers all glued together and is now sitting on my shelf right at eye level and I am loving seeing it sitting there... making me happy and reminding me that teenagers are just too fantastic and that Phantom is one lucky girl to have a cool friend like the Alster!!!!
Head over to AEDM to see what everyone else has been up to today in their creative worlds...

Luckilly my boyfriend isn't into sports, so I don't get subjected to that...just zombies and sci-fi stuff instead - just as bad! Love the cake! I want a real one like that for my birthday now!
